"Time to face the music."

Self Critique: there were some execution issues when it came to drawing her raised hand. I'm still not sure if I did a good enough job. With her boobs, there's the upper “y” part of her cleavage that I should've not included in the end since the mic would be pulling the boob apart, thus not forming the “y”. This applies to both clothed and nude versions.

I'm back again with another commission from the homie DagobahResident. This time we're going back to Skullgirls. I was commissioned to draw Eliza, the blood-bending fighter with an Egyptian motif. I'll be honest, I haven't gone back to Skullgirls in some time after the Kickstarter to save both it and Reverge Labs/Lab Zero Games from certain demise thanks to the chuckleheads over at Konami. I mainly came back when Squigly was released. But after that, other games started coming out and sadly my attention was pulled elsewhere. But I would peek in from time to time to see what Lab Zero was up to and how much progress was done for the remaining characters to be released. I recently bought 2nd Encore after a massive sale about a month back, so maybe now I can play out the rest of what I was missing.

Anyway, let's get on with this pic here. This took quite a long time to draw, nearly a year to be exact as I tried to acclimate to my new situations regarding my having a part-time job. Once I got into the swing of things, I was able to chip away at my backlog of drawings to do, both Commissioned and Patreon pics. I livestreamed the 1st sketch phase at the beginning of this year. But when I would pop back into this from time to time, the initial pose just wasn't gelling. I knew I had to redrew it from scratch, but still retaining the boob squeeze with the mic that Dagobah asked for. So I did a more standard standing pose instead of the “leaning forward a bit” one that I had before. At first I was thinking of doing the skin-shedding-into-a-Blood-Cobra thing that Eliza does with her hand. Buuuut.... drawing skeletal bones is something I'm not too familiar with, at least with hands and arms, so I just left that out. What I would do though very late into this pic was the blood-sand effect. Figured I'd add on this effect as a freebie since I made Dagobah wait this long for completion. It actually started as a normal sand effect. But then I asked myself “what if” and made it red like blood. The end result was actually pretty cool. So I left it as is.

Done on Clip Studio Paint Pro. Wacom Cintiq 16 used. Body-Chan model traced for construction lines, then drawn free-hand the rest of the way.
